Star Richmond key forward Jack Riewoldt has achieved the 50-goal milestone in an AFL season for the seventh time in the past eight years.
He chalked up goal No. 50 for season 2017 with his third and final six-pointer in last Sunday’s Round 23 win against St Kilda at the MCG.
The only time Riewoldt hasn’t finished with 50 goals or more in a season since 2010 was last year, when he scored 48.
Riewoldt is a dual Coleman Medallist (2010 with 78 goals and 2012 with 65 goals), a two-time All-Australian (2010 and 2015), he’s won the Michael Roach Medal, as the Tigers’ leading goalkicker in a season, on seven occasions (2010-16), and is set to make it eight this year.
The 28-year-old has booted 533 goals all-up in 222 games of senior league football since making his debut with Richmond in 2007.
