Richmond young gun, Brandon Ellis, is confident the Tigers can put into practice the lessons learned from their three consecutive losses, and return to the winners’ list in Saturday’s Round 7 match against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.

“The boys are looking forward to it, to rectify the last three weeks,” he said on Croc Media’s “Sportsday” program.

“We have been playing good footy . . . we’ve just been having these 10-15 minute lapses, which have cost us the last three games.

“It’s up to the guys to make the right decisions on the day.

“We’ve trained really hard this week and we’ve looked really good on the track.

“The boys are just burning and raring to go for Saturday’s game . . .

“We’ve just got to be able to play four quarters of our best footy and, if we can do that, I’m pretty sure we’ll come away with the win.

“I think it’s going to be a cracking battle, and it’s going to be tight, and we all can’t wait for it.”
