The Richmond Football Club is mourning the death of Craig Stewart, aged 66, on June 8, 2023.
Stewart came to Tigerland on April 18, 1984 as part of the "Trade Wars" between Collingwood and Richmond. He had previously played in two Grand Finals for the Magpies.
In his debut year with the Tigers he finished fourth in the Best & Fairest.
Standing 193cms and weighing 99kgs, he played mostly in defence during his time at Tigerland and was recognised for his determination and long accurate kicking.
In total, from 1984 - 1986 he played 35 Senior games kicking three goals, and 17 Reserve games kicking 12 goals.
