What the Richmond recruiters say about Trezise...
"Originally recruited from Tooradin-Dalmore FC in the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition, James joined Richmond VFL for the first time this season having never previously been in a state league program or elite junior program. In such a short amount of time, his dedication to his football has been second-to-none and consequentially his improvement has been rapid.
"His competitiveness, defensive intent and big vertical power has seen him used across a number of positions in his eight VFL games this season. He has predominantly settled as a back, averaging 16 disposals, five marks and five tackles including a 29 disposal, 10 mark game against Geelong in Round 8.
"At only 20 years old with enormous upside, we are incredibly excited to bring James into the club in a full-time capacity; an opportunity he thoroughly deserves."
