Richmond young gun Dustin Martin’s potency in attack was a major positive for the Tigers in last Thursday night’s victory over the Brisbane Lions.

Martin, who was used as a full-time forward, had six shots for goal, kicked 3.3, and caused significant problems for the Brisbane defence with his strength, poise and football ‘smarts’.

“He’s all class,” said reigning Jack Dyer Medallist Daniel Jackson.

“You put him anywhere on the field and you know he’s going to win more than he loses.  So, why not get him inside 50.

“He’s got a very good tank on him these days, so I think we’ll see him still rolling through the midfield where needed.  But we do have a lot of midfielders, so it’s good to have guys who’ve got extra strings on their bow.
