Richmond members can be a part of the Spring Carnival action by receiving free entry to next weekend’s Sandown Guineas Day.

It’s the final metropolitan meeting of the Spring Racing Carnival, and features two Group Two races, the Ladies in Racing Magazine Fashions on the Field for all ages, as well as plenty of free activities for the kids.

Richmond will be on course with football activities, and merchandise on sale.

A number of Tiger players will attend the race day, including Dylan Grimes, Jack Riewoldt, Luke McGuane, Jake King, Nathan Foley and Aaron Edwards.

Members will be eligible to gain complimentary general admission entry to the racecourse on presentation of a valid membership card.

And the Mascot Stakes is back again in 2012, with Tiger Stripes Dyer defending his title against rival Melbourne Racing Club mascot, Clip Clop Clyde and Variety Children’s Charity heart mascot over 100 metres, between race three and four.

Gates open at 10.30am, and free family entertainment will take place on the front lawn from 12pm-4pm, and activities include pony rides, a jumping castle, an animal farm and face painting.
