Richmond captain Trent Cotchin scored a perfect 10 in the AFL Coaches Association’s Player of the Year voting for the Round 17 clash with Fremantle at the MCG.
Cotchin, who won the prestigious award last year, was awarded 10 votes by respective coaches Damien Hardwick and Ross Lyon for his influential role in the Tigers’ important 27-point win.
The star Tiger midfielder had a game-high 34 disposals, which included six clearances, five rebound-50s, and a crucial goal.
Key Richmond defender, Alex Rance, received six votes for a superb display that netted him 30 disposals and 16 marks.
Other Tiger players to pick up votes for their fine efforts throughout the match were Dustin Martin (four), Jack Riewoldt (three), Daniel Jackson (two) and Matty White (one).
