Richmond AFLW will play its first ever game at the MCG on Sunday, August 14 in a practice game against Hawthorn.
In a Sunday special for Tiger fans, the clash will kick off at 10.30am ahead of the AFL match between Richmond and Hawthorn from 1.10pm.
The double header will be Richmond AFLW's final competitive hit-out before the Club embarks on its fourth season in the competition.
Richmond Head of Women's Football Kate Sheahan said it was exciting news for the group.
"This is an opportunity that a lot of our girls thought they would never have," she said.
"But more importantly, it's an important experience for their development to play on a bigger ground, and as part of an anticipated occasion.
"We thank the AFL and MCC for allowing this to happen, and look forward to the Tiger Army getting their first glimpse of our new-look Tigers ahead of the upcoming season."
The Tigers take on Geelong in the opening round of the season on Sunday, August 28 at GMHBA Stadium from 4.10pm AEST.
