Richmond is pleased to announce a new partnership with Pilot, Australia's biggest men’s telehealth platform.
Pilot will proudly feature on the Club's AFL playing shorts throughout 2022, with Richmond serving as the brand's Official Online Men's Health Partner.
Throughout this partnership, the Tiger Army and broader Richmond supporters will rally behind the movement to gain access and the tools needed for better men’s health. The aim is to spread awareness that Pilot make it easy for men to take meaningful action and level up their health bit by bit.
Together Richmond and Pilot will also begin initiatives calling on men to check in on their health to become better, healthier versions of themselves.
Since launching in February 2019, Pilot's end-to-end telehealth platform has been used by over 150,000 Australian men.
Pilot sets out to improve access to healthcare for men by making it online and easy to talk to a doctor while reducing stigmas around health issues.
Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said the partnership would create an avenue for Richmond players and fans to access health initiatives easily.
"Pilot is taking the stress out of men's healthcare, which is something we are pleased our many members and supporters will be able to benefit from," he said.
"From small beginnings, Pilot has become an action taking and fast-growing business. We are pleased to have a similarly ambitious organisation represented on our shorts for the 2022 season."
General Manager and Founder of Pilot, Charlie Gearside added that a partnership with Richmond was a massive step for getting the word out to men about looking after their health.
“The Richmond Football Club believes in our mission to change the narrative on men's health,” he said.
“Richmond has got a great group of young men striving to be better on and off the field. It is just a no-brainer alignment, and we cannot wait to help bring home another flag in 2022."
