Richmond’s ‘ball-magnet’ midfielder Anthony Miles and inspirational ruckman Ivan Maric were the only Tigers to poll votes in the AFL Coaches Association’s Player of the Year award for Round 6.
Miles received six votes for his tireless work through the midfield in last Saturday’s 35-point loss to North Melbourne at Hobart’s Blundstone Arena.
He picked up an equal game-high 30 disposals, including a game-high nine clearances and an equal game-high nine score involvements.

Maric collected two votes for a typically bullocking display against a top-class opponent in Todd Goldstein, who also was given two votes.
The big Tiger tried valiantly to lift his team right throughout the contest, finishing with 15 disposals, including 10 contested possessions and six score involvements.
