Richmond has named tenacious small defender Steven Morris in its 25-man squad for Sunday’s big Round 6 match against Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.
Morris hasn’t played senior football with the Tigers since rupturing the ACL in his right knee during the first quarter of last year’s Round 11 loss to North Melbourne at Hobart’s Blundstone Arena.

He’s made good progress on the comeback trail with Richmond’s VFL team over the past few weeks.
The 28-year-old veteran of 86 senior league games was a valuable contributor for the VFL Tigers in their win against Sandringham last Saturday, picking up 20 disposals and showing fine leadership throughout.
Richmond’s two other squad inclusions for Round 6 are Nick Vlastuin and Jacob Townsend

Vlastuin missed the Round 5 Anzac Day Eve victory over Melbourne because of concussion, while Townsend is yet to play a senior game this season.
Townsend, however, has been in excellent form through the midfield and up forward at VFL level, showcasing his strength, toughness, defensive pressure, and contested-ball capability.
At this stage, there are no outs from the Richmond team that defeated the Demons by 13 points last Monday night.
The Tigers will finalise their line-up tomorrow (Friday) afternoon.
