Shai Bolton and Jack Riewoldt have been named as finalists for this season's AFL Mark of the Year competition after their high-flying efforts in 2021.
Bolton took things to new heights in Richmond's Round 8 match against Geelong at the MCG, as he captivated the footy world with a sensational grab in the first quarter.
He timed his leap to perfection, getting the ride on Geelong's Mark Blicavs and launching himself out of the pack, before pulling down the stunning mark and subsequently slotting the goal.
The gun youngster went on to boot three goals that game, to go with 21 disposals.
Riewoldt produced his own breathtaking moment of the season in the fourth quarter of Richmond's Round 11 win over Adelaide at Giants Stadium.
In courageous style, he ran back with the flight of the ball and soared into the pack to take the mark.
The star forward converted the brave grab for his third of the day, before booting two more in a skilled display to seal the win for the Tigers.
The gutsy act drew comparisons to his cousin Nick's famous mark at the SCG 17 years prior.
Bolton and Riewoldt have been announced as finalists for the fan-voted award alongside Hawthorn's Tim O'Brien.
