Young excitement machine Shai Bolton’s impressive progress in 2021 has been further underlined through a thorough statistical analysis of Richmond’s playing group for the season.
Bolton features in the top five of the key stats categories more than any other player at Tigerland.
The dual premiership Tiger appears 16 times in the 21 specific categories (four times as No. 1).
Triple Norm Smith Medallist Dustin Martin, despite missing the last five games of the season with a lacerated kidney, still managed to finish second on the list of Richmond stats stars in 2021.
Martin is ranked in the top five of the categories 13 times, while this year’s Jack Dyer Medal equal runner-up, Jack Graham, comes in third with 11, followed by Liam Baker, nine, and then Jayden Short, Trent Cotchin and Jack Riewoldt all on seven.
Short has the most No. 1 rankings in the categories with six.
