Kate was appointed to the Board in February 2021.

Kate is currently serving on the Board of Canteen Australia, is co-Chair of the Minerva Network Victorian Chapter and prior to that was Chair of the Victorian Institute of Sport for six years and a MCG Trustee for 11 years.

Kate was CEO of the Australian Sports Commission for three years, CEO of Netball Australia for 12 years and CEO of Netball Victoria for 10 years.

In June 2019, Kate was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
