The two-time Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist stood out with her speed, athleticism, and foot skills in her first three AFLW seasons, before being sidelined for her entire fourth campaign through injury. Lavey who finished 5th in the Club’s best and fairest from seven matches in 2022 and was ninth in Season 7, has returned to play every game in 2024. The winger who was still elevated to the Tigers leadership group in 2023 despite her season long injury took on vice-captaincy duties this year.
