Armstrong is a highly-rated 195cm forward from Sandringham Dragons and Victoria Metro via Ormond.
The left-footer played a starring role at all levels of football in 2024, booting 60 majors across 19 games.
Armstrong was prolific through the National Championships, booting nine goals across three games, which included a five-goal haul against Vic Country in the title deciding match, cementing his place in the U/18 All Australian team.
The 18-year-old was also selected in the 2024 Coates Talent League team of the year and was seventh in the National Combines agility testing, an outstanding result for a player of his height.
Armstrong kicked four goal hauls in five of his 10 matches for the Dragons this season, including in the Grand Final win against GWV Rebels.
