Richmond's three-time Norm Smith Medallist, Dustin Martin has sent a message to members and supporters following his season-ending kidney injury.

Martin was unable to finish the Round 18 win over Brisbane following a collision with Brisbane Lion Mitch Robinson, which left him hospitalised in Queensland.

“Hey Tiger Army, just a quick one to say thanks so much for all your well wishes over the last couple of weeks,” Martin said.

“I really appreciate it. I’m on the mend, hoping to get home soon so I can get into the Club and support the boys. Thanks again, I really appreciate it."
