Sydney Stack made a solid return to Richmond’s senior side in yesterday’s loss to Collingwood at the MCG.
The talented 21-year-old, playing his first AFL game since Round 13 last year on August 22, had 13 disposals and took three marks in his role across the Tigers’ half-back line.
“He was pretty good . . . What I’m looking forward to is his second game back,” Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said in his post-match press conference.
“It’s what he does with the knowledge that he takes out of the journey he’d had thus far, but more importantly, what he learns and how he grows from it . . .
“We know how good he can be. I want to see what he does with it.
“That’s his challenge. He’s too good a player to not be playing AFL.
“He’s got a chance now, and we’ll see how he goes.”
