Running Richmond defender Bachar Houli is in a moon boot and will likely need surgery for a mild ankle syndesmosis sprain suffered in last night’s loss to Gold Coast.

The 33-year-old underwent scans today.

Fellow veteran Shane Edwards received attention on his left ankle following an incident in the opening minutes of yesterday’s game. The midfielder completed the game and will be monitored during the week.

Callum Coleman-Jones was subbed out of the contest at half-time with a calf strain.

The Club will provide a further update once findings are confirmed.
