He is the greatest coach in Richmond’s history.

He is one of just five Tiger ‘Immortals’.

He is revered by the Yellow and Black faithful.

He looks as fit now as he did back in the 1970s when he last coached the Tigers.

He, of course, is the inimitable Tommy Hafey, and he turns 80 this Friday (August 5).

To commemorate Tommy’s 80th Birthday milestone, Richmond, in conjunction with the Tommy Hafey Club, has incorporated a special tribute to its beloved “Tiger Tom” at the Club’s upcoming 2011 Hall of Fame function, which will be held on Friday, August 19, in the Plaza Ballroom at the Regent Theatre from 11.45am-3pm.

So, as well as discovering the latest inductees into Richmond’s prestigious Hall of Fame, you can also celebrate the wonderful Tiger life and times of the Club’s four-time premiership coach Tommy Hafey.

The cost of tickets for this truly special Hall of Fame luncheon is $140 for Tommy Hafey Club and Richmond Former Players and Officials’ Association members, while for non-members, it’s $160 per head, with a table of 10 guests available for $1500.

RSVP:  Friday, August 12.

Please note that strictly no bookings will be taken after this date.
