Talented Tiger tall forward/relief ruckman Ben Griffiths continues to build impressively on the solid gains he made in his league career last year.
Griffiths played a career-high 16 senior games in 2014, following a frustrating run with injuries during his first four seasons at Richmond, and provided the Tigers with good value up forward, as well as a back-up in the ruck for Ivan Maric.

In the first three rounds of season 2015, the 200cm, 102kg, 23-year-old is averaging two goals and nearly eight marks per match.
Richmond's Ben Griffiths tangles with Brisbane's Stefan Martin in Round 3.
He picked up 19 disposals, grabbed a career-high (and game-high) 10 marks, and booted two goals in Richmond’s 79-point victory over Brisbane at the Gabba last Saturday night.
“I thought he was really good tonight,” Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said at his post-match press conference.

“He presents well, but we probably didn’t target him enough. I think we only targeted him two times in the first half.
“The second half was a lot better . . . I think it might have been seven or eight times, which was a better spread.
“He probably should have finished off with four goals . . . passed one off at the end also.
“If he can manage to kick three goals each week for the year, that’s a 60-goal season, which is a good result.”
