Richmond will play Essendon under lights at the MCG on Saturday, August 31, in the final home-and-away round of the 2013 season.
The AFL today announced it had finalised the fixture for Round 23, which had been left as a floating round when the fixture was revealed late last year.
Reigning premiers Sydney will take on last year’s runner-up Hawthorn at ANZ Stadium on the Friday night to kick off the final round, with Richmond and Essendon clashing at the ‘G from 7.40 on the Saturday night.
