Richmond coach Damien Hardwick remains bullish about the prospects of Ty Vickery playing alongside fellow tall forwards Jack Riewoldt and Ben Griffiths in the Tigers’ attack.
Vickery was not selected for the opening round clash with Carlton last week, and subsequently injured his knee in a VFL practice match against Essendon.

He was cleared of any structural damage to the knee, but will be sidelined this weekend due to some swelling and soreness in it.
“Primarily, I want to play three talls,” Hardwick said.
“What we’ve just got to make sure of, is we pick the guy that’s in form.
“At the moment, I’m playing Sam Lloyd as a key-position player . . . he’s 5ft 10in. He kicks three goals (against Carlton in Round 1), so he keeps his spot in the side.
“Whoever’s playing the best will play.”
