Richmond has made two changes to its AFLW line-up for tomorrow night’s game against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium.
Star on-baller Monique Conti will return after being a late withdrawal from last Friday’s loss to North Melbourne, while utility Laura McClelland has been selected for her first game of 2021.
Conti will be a welcome addition to Richmond’s midfield brigade, having averaged 26 disposals across her past four games.
McClelland, 20, has been recalled for her first AFLW game since Round 5 last year when the Tigers travelled to Wagga Wagga to play GWS.
The youngster who has notched up five AFLW games for her career has been a strong performer for Port Melbourne in the VFLW in recent weeks playing mainly in defence.
Out from last week’s 21 is Hannah Burchell, who is unable to make the trip to Queensland due to work commitments, and Phoebe Monahan, who has been omitted.
Friday night’s game will be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY, Kayo, and the womens.afl app from 7.30pm AEDT.
