With three premierships during the past four seasons, Richmond is clearly the dominant force in the AFL competition right now.
And that dominance is further underlined through an analysis of the win-loss ratios of the league’s teams since 2017, with the Tigers way ahead of all their rivals in this regard.
They have won 71 and drawn one of 95 games, which equates to an excellent winning percentage of 74.7.
That is nine percent better than the next best winning strike-rate by an AFL team over the course of the past four seasons – West Coast, with 60 wins and 31 losses, at 65.9%.
