Richmond superstar Dustin Martin is now a four-time All-Australian representative.

Martin was named in a forward pocket in the 2020 All-Australian team, which was revealed this evening. He previously gained All-Australian selection in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The 2017 Brownlow Medallist, dual Tigers premiership player, and two-time Norm Smith Medallist, finished this year’s home-and-away season ranked No. 1 of all the midfielder-forwards in the AFL competition for disposals, contested possessions, clearances, score involvements and metres gained.

He averages 20.5 disposals, 2.9 marks, 3.6 clearances, 5.1 inside-50s, 5.5 score involvements, 347.1 metres gained per game, and has kicked 15 goals so far in season 2020.

Those statistics are impressive enough, but Martin’s impact on matches goes way beyond the raw numbers.

His trademark ability to consistently produce something special, when the team needs it most, is what makes him such a major weapon for the Tigers.

Martin was the sole Richmond player selected in this year’s All-Australian line-up. Defensive duo Dylan Grimes and Nick Vlastuin were included in the 40-man All-Australian squad that was announced two days ago.
