Richmond key forward Ben Griffiths and young midfielder Corey Ellis are both set for stints on the sidelines through injury.
Griffiths is expected to miss 8-10 weeks, with surgery required to repair a tendon in his finger, which he damaged in last Saturday’s loss to Fremantle.
The 23-year-old had only just returned from two weeks out with a shoulder injury, after playing in 11 of the Club’s first 13 games this season.
Ellis is facing a recovery of 4-6 weeks, with minor surgery required to repair a foot injury.
The Club’s first pick in the 2014 National Draft made his comeback to the field in the VFL last weekend, after missing four weeks prior with a hip flexor injury.
He has played six games in his debut season to date – the latest in Round 12 against West Coast.
Meanwhile, Richmond ruckman Shaun Hampson faces a fitness test later in the week, before a decision is made on his availability for Friday night’s blockbuster against Hawthorn.
Hampson was subbed out of last weekend’s game against Fremantle with an ankle injury, after landing awkwardly late in the second quarter.
Tigers’ key forward Ty Vickery is available for selection this week, after he served a two-match suspension.
