Richmond is poised to finish the 2013 home-and-away season with its highest percentage since 1982, when it last played in a Grand Final.

The Tigers enter Round 23 in fifth place with 14 wins, seven losses and a percentage of 121.4.

Back in ’82, when they finished on top of the ladder at the end of the home-and-away season, their percentage was 126.2.

Up until this year, Richmond had made the finals just twice since 1982 – in 1995, when it finished third with a percentage of 107.9, and 2001, when it was fourth with a percentage of 107.8.

Last season, the Tigers finished 12th with a percentage of 111.6.
