Robust Richmond premiership ruckman Ivan Soldo produced a breakout performance in last night’s Dreamtime in Darwin clash with Essendon at TIO Stadium.
Soldo, in his 33rd game of AFL football, played a key role in the Tigers’ 12-point win with strong ruckwork at the centre bounces and plenty of productive around-the-ground involvement.
He had an AFL career-high 17 disposals, career-high 12 contested possessions, career-high nine intercepts, and career-high 186 metres, to go with four marks, five clearances and game-high 19 hit-outs.
The 24-year-old is currently ranked seventh in the competition this season for total hit-outs.
