Richmond has named exciting young prospect Sydney Stack to make his senior debut in Saturday’s twilight clash against GWS at Giants Stadium.
The final member of Richmond’s 2019 list, Stack arrived at Tigerland in December as part of the AFL’s Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period after being overlooked in the 2018 AFL Draft.

The 18-year-old’s tenacious nature and natural talent soon turned heads, and by February, the West Australian’s place at the Club was confirmed.
The rookie Tiger, who’s been working with Richmond’s backs, produced an impressive string of performances in the VFL side’s pre-season practice matches.
Promising defender Ryan Garthwaite, 20, returns to the side after recovering from an Achilles complaint.
A valuable addition to the side in Dylan Grimes’ absence, the Giants match will be Garthwaite’s third opportunity in the Yellow and Black, with his last game played in Round 22, 2018.
