Assistant coach, midfield and offensive, Andrew McQualter spoke to Richmond Media about the Round 8 match against GWS in this week's edition of Coaches' Corner, presented by Hostplus.
The short break between games
"It's been a quick turnaround, we've had a busy few days. We've been in and out of meetings, planning and reviewing. But it's good, everyone loves playing footy so we're happy to have another go in a few days' time."
A missed opportunity against the Giants
"It's going to be hard to win if you kick 14 points. There was a bit of missed opportunity and some things we did in the front half which we can keep improving. GWS are a good team and they took their opportunities."
Dusty's top performance (23 disposals, nine clearances, two goals)
"I think Dustin probably played his best game of the year and he looked like the Dustin we all know and love. He, a bit like a few of our other players, has different ways of impacting a game, but I think what we saw on the weekend was Dustin at his best."

Bolton thriving in the midfield
"The last three weeks, all his first quarters have been incredible. We've been really pleased with Shai. He played forward for most of last year and we always knew he had midfield capabilities. It was a few injuries that gave him the opportunity and right now he's grabbing it with both hands...He's incredibly hard to tackle. His ability to win the ball and get out of traffic is really impressive. And his agility around the contest, he's got really fast feet and both offensively and defensively can impact a lot of contests."
Lambert receiving extra attention from GWS
"(GWS) have paid close attention to Kane quite often over the years. He gets that from a few different teams but he helped us on the weekend in multiple ways. He's such a hard-working player and he's difficult to tag."
Trent Cotchin's return
"He is good to go, he trained well this morning. He probably could have played last week, so we can't wait to get him back. The Bulldogs are very good in the contest and that's what Trent's best at, so we're looking forward to seeing him do that."
The important of beating the Bulldogs in contested ball
"Last year when we played them, they smashed us in that area. So there's multiple things to do with that but the crux of it is we need to be a really good contested ball side on Wednesday night."
