Richmond has made seven changes to its team for Saturday’s Round 15 clash with Melbourne at the MCG.

Mature-age recruit, Tom Derickx, will make his senior league debut with the Club, while Reece Conca, Jake Batchelor, Matthew White, Luke McGuane, Brett O’Hanlon and Addam Maric have all been recalled to the line-up.

They replace injured pair Jake King and Dylan Grimes, Daniel Jackson, who received a two-game ban from the AFL’s match review panel, Dustin Martin, who was handed a two-match suspension by the Club, Daniel Connors, who has parted company with Richmond, plus Brad Miller and Todd Elton, who have both been omitted.

Derickx, was selected by Richmond at pick 63 overall in the 2010 AFL National Draft after impressing at WAFL level with Claremont that season.  He was a valuable member of Claremont’s 2010 grand final side.

The 24-year-old, 201cm, 99kg, forward-ruckman, had an injury-riddled first season at Tigerland in 2011, initially battling a heel complaint and then sustaining a broken ankle, which ruled him out for the second half of the year.

He has impressed at VFL level with Coburg in recent weeks, alternating between key back and key forward posts, with strong marking a feature of his game.

McGuane, 25, will make his first appearance for Richmond in 2012 after reinventing himself at Coburg this season as a key forward.

White will play just his third game at AFL level this year.  The 25-year-old, who last played in the Tigers’ Round 5 loss to West Coast at Etihad Stadium, has been in excellent form at Coburg throughout the season.

Batchelor, 20, and Conca, 19, return after being omitted from the side that defeated Greater Western Sydney in Round 12.

Maric, 22, is back for his seventh game with Richmond, after joining the Club from Melbourne this year, while O’Hanlon, 18, will line up for his third game, following his debut appearance against Fremantle at the MCG in Round 11.

Richmond’s three emergencies for Saturday’s game are Brad Miller, Todd Elton and Matt Arnot.
