Federation Square to the MCG 

The Long Walk invites everyone to gather at Federation Square to walk with Michael Long on The Long Walk to the MCG.  

This year The Long Walk celebrates the positive achievements of Indigenous communities by starting the walk with a celebration including stalls, kids' activities and performances at Federation Square.  

There is no registration fee for The Long Walk this year. We encourage everyone to come to Fed Square at 2.30pm, enjoy the entertainment and buy a t-shirt to support the event.
