HOSTPLUS boost for Tigers
Richmond’s official match ball sponsor, HOSTPLUS, has renewed its partnership with the Tigers for a further two years.
HOSTPLUS is a leading provider of superannuation and related financial services, for the hospitality, tourism, recreation and sporting industries.
“We’re thrilled to extend our association with HOSTPLUS until at least the end of 2013,” said Richmond CEO Brendon Gale.
“We have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship so far with HOSTPLUS, dating back almost a decade, and we value their long term partnership with Richmond enormously.”
“As membership organisations, we both understand the importance of providing value to our members, and we look forward to continuing our role in supporting HOSTPLUS’ objectives.”
HOSTPLUS was established by the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) and United Voice (formerly the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union - LHMU) in 1987, and has nearly one million members, 80,000 employers and funds under management of approximately $9.9 billion.
In 2011, HOSTPLUS, in conjunction with Richmond, developed “Health Wealth,” an innovative program designed for HOSTPLUS members to kick-start their health and well-being, in order to live a healthier life.
“We’re delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with the Richmond Football Club,” said HOSTPLUS CEO David Elia.
“Being member driven organisations, Both HOSTPLUS and the Tigers are always putting members at the forefront of everything we do.
“Therefore, I am confident that our partnership will deliver significant benefit to our existing members through both brand opportunities and, more broadly, to the sporting industry and related industry sectors that HOSTPLUS serves.”
