Talented, young, tall forward, Ty Vickery, has signed a two-year contract extension with Richmond.

The deal means Vickery is tied to the Club at least until the end of the 2014 season.

Vickery, 21, had a breakout third season of AFL football with the Tigers in 2011.

He kicked 36 goals and proved a major handful for opposing defences with his height (200cm), marking prowess, mobility, and all-round football ‘smarts’.

“We are thrilled to have Ty continue with Richmond for at least another two years,” said Richmond General Manager of Football Craig Cameron.

“He has become a very important player in our team, and we consider him one of our up-and-coming leaders.
