Graham Polak has recovered well from a head clash suffered during the first quarter of yesterday’s VFL match between Coburg and Werribee at Chirnside Park.
Polak was carried from the field on a stretcher after colliding with Werribee’s Mitch Thorp.
He recovered quickly and rejoined team-mates on the interchange bench during the second quarter, before leaving the ground and returning home to rest.
Polak was cleared of any damage this morning when assessed by club doctor Greg Hickey.
He will be monitored closely in the coming days, before a decision is made about his chances of playing this weekend.
