Richmond assistant coach Justin Leppitsch has become one of 17 inaugural inductees into the Brisbane Lions Hall of Fame.

Leppitsch, a triple premiership player with Brisbane, was inducted at a special function held at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium last Saturday night, which honoured the “best of the best” in the club’s combined 126-year VFL/AFL history.

Apart from the three Lion premierships, Leppitsch also won a Best and Fairest at Brisbane, two club leading goalkicker awards, and was a triple All-Australian representative, in his stellar 227-game league career.

Leppitsch has been in an assistant coaching capacity at Richmond since the end of 2009.  He is currently the Tigers’ backline coach.
