Ty Vickery has had a breakout season of AFL football in 2011 . . .
The talented young Tiger tall forward had scored just eight goals in 23 league games leading into this year.
But in 21 games with Richmond in the 2011 season, the 21-year-old has kicked 35 goals and proven a major handful for opposing defences with his height (200cm), marking prowess, and all-round football ‘smarts’.
Vickery booted an equal-career high four goals in last Sunday’s 22-point victory over Adelaide, matching the four he notched against Brisbane at the Gabba in Round 13 this year.
He has scored multiple goals during the season on 10 occasions.
