A survey sent to Richmond members last week is helping to shape an exciting new business-to-business (B2B) program.

The survey was emailed to a segment of members, to understand what they value in the areas of corporate and coterie entertainment.

The survey indicated that 53% of respondents had entertained clients at the football, and 76% had been invited to functions at the football this year, or in previous years.

80% of respondents entertained at games because of an interest in football, while 52% were for social entertainment reasons, and 50% entertained clients.

Over half of respondents indicated interest in a corporate networking program, with the majority of people citing football (84%), sport (60%) or business (54%) as popular themes for  networking events.

The survey is important research for the Club, which will soon launch a new B2B program for individuals, groups or companies who are active in business, and seeking opportunities to connect and engage through sport and entertainment.

The Club believes Richmond supporters with business interests will be attracted to the B2B program, with 64% of survey respondents indicating they would like more information when it becomes available.

Respondents also said that direct networking opportunities were most important in the B2B program, followed by inclusion into Richmond’s corporate directory.

Simply by completing the survey, members were entered into a competition for a day at the footy, as guests in the President’s Function. Matt Grix of Laverton North was selected as the winner.
