Richmond recorded its biggest win since Damien Hardwick took over as coach, against Hawthorn at the MCG last Saturday.

The Tigers’ 62-point victory - 21.11 (137) to 10.15 (75) - eclipsed their previous best 59-point winning margin against Melbourne in Round 3 this season.

It was also the first time Richmond has won all four quarters in a match since Round 4 of the 2008 season, when the Tigers defeated Fremantle by 64 points at Subiaco.
Richmond scored 4.4 to 1.3 in the first quarter, 4.4 to 3.6 in the second, 5.1 to 4.1 in the third, and brought it home in style, with an 8.2 to 2.5 final term.

And, it was the third time under Hardwick’s coaching guidance that Richmond has scored 20 goals or more in match.

The Tigers kicked 23.20 to Fremantle’s 14.15 in Round 7, 2011 at the MCG and then booted 20.13 to Melbourne’s 11.8 in this year’s Round 3 encounter.
