• 70 years since Richmond recorded its highest-ever score in a quarter - 12.8 (80) v Melbourne, in Round 2 of the 1942 season at Punt Road.
• 70 years since champion Tiger ruckman and 1948 Brownlow Medallist, Bill Morris, made his senior league debut, in 1942.
• 70 years since dual Richmond premiership player, Billy Brown, was born, in 1942.
• 60 years since champion Tiger ruckman, Roy Wright, won the first of his two Brownlow Medals, in 1952.
• 60 years since Richmond ‘Immortal’ Jack Dyer’s last year as Tiger coach, in 1952.
• 60 years since dual Tiger premiership player and Hall of Fame inductee, Neil Balme, was born, in 1952.
