Livewire Richmond small forward Jack Higgins continues to make impressive strides in his comeback to AFL football following the serious brain complaint that he suffered last year.
Higgins was one of the Tigers’ best in last Saturday’s loss to St Kilda at Marvel Stadium, picking up 17 disposals, including an equal game-high seven score involvements, three inside-50s, three clearances, taking four marks and kicking a goal.
The 21-year-old, who returned to Richmond’s senior side in the 2020 season re-opener against Collingwood in Round 2, has got better with each game he’s played.
He is averaging 14.7 disposals, 3.0 inside-50s, 5.3 score involvements, 4.7 marks and 299.0 metres gained per match.
