Richmond will host GWS in a Grand Final rematch on Sunday, July 19, after the AFL announced the Round 7 fixture on Thursday afternoon.

Following three weeks away from the MCG, the Tigers will return to the hallowed turf to face the Giants, with the first bounce set for 3.35pm EST.

It will be the first meeting between the two sides since Richmond’s 89-point premiership victory last September.

Tigers to tackle North Melbourne in Round 6

The clash will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7. 

The Round 7 match follows the Tigers’ Round 6 clash against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, July 12.

Richmond plays St Kilda at Marvel Stadium in Round 4 this Saturday before heading north to the Gold Coast to face West Coast in Round 5 next Thursday.
