In-form Richmond utility, Shane Edwards, and veteran defender, Chris Newman, will undergo fitness tests later this week as they attempt to take their places in the team for the Round 21 clash with Carlton at the MCG on Saturday.

Edwards withdrew from last Saturday’s win against Brisbane with hamstring soreness, while Newman completed the game, but was hampered by a slight ankle complaint.
