Richmond defender Steven Morris will miss this Friday night's match against Fremantle after accepting a one-match suspension from the AFL’s Match Review Panel.
Morris was charged with a level two rough conduct offence against Collingwood’s Jamie Elliot, during the second quarter of Saturday’s match at the MCG.
The offence was categorised as negligent conduct, medium impact and high contact, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match suspension.
An early guilty plea reduced the sanction to 168.75 points, and a one-match sanction.
