The Richmond line-up for Saturday’s Round 12 clash with Adelaide at the MCG has been bolstered through the return from injury of talented, young midfield pair Brandon Ellis and Reece Conca.
They replace Matt Dea, who has a calf injury and Sam Lonergan, who has been omitted from the side that defeated West Coast by 41 points at Patersons Stadium in Round 10.
Ellis suffered a minor hamstring strain at training in the lead-up to the Round 9 Dreamtime game against Essendon after racking up a career-high 39 disposals in the Round 8 clash with Melbourne.
Conca had an impressive start to the season, averaging 20.5 disposals in the first four games, before being diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right foot.
He resumed playing with Coburg in the VFL a couple of weeks ago and was a strong contributor in his 70 minutes of game time.
The three Tiger emergencies for Saturday’s match are Lonergan, David Astbury and Robin Nahas.
