The Tigers attracted a crowd of 60,825 to last Saturday’s final home game of the year, against Carlton.

You have to go back to 2001 to find the last time Richmond drew as many 50,000-plus crowds in a season.

The Club managed the feat eight times during that ’01 season, which was also the last year it made the finals, before this one.

Richmond is ranked No. 2 in the competition for total attendance figures in 2013, behind Collingwood.

The Tigers are closing in on one million spectators for the season, with 969,997 after Round 21.

Their final average home-game attendance figure in Melbourne this year (there was one interstate game in Cairns) was 55,171.
