Exciting young midfielder, Brandon Ellis, received an AFL Goal of the Year nomination for his snap-goal on the boundary line in the second quarter of the Tigers’ win over Carlton last Thursday night.
Set-up by Chris Newman, who handballed to him after a stoppage, Ellis booted the classy goal from 50 metres, and finished with two goals for the game.

Ellis was named among Richmond’s best players for the match, after collecting 18 disposals and being instrumental at shutting down dangerous Carlton midfielder, Bryce Gibbs.
