Inspirational Richmond ruckman Ivan Maric knows exactly what he’d like to see from the Tigers’ team in Sunday’s big elimination final clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
“I want us to play the Richmond way. That’s the most important thing . . . almost not even think about the result,” he said on ABC radio.
“Focus on how we want to play, and how we have played since we’ve turned it around.

“We’re in great form, and if we focus on playing the Richmond way, I know we can walk off the field, at the end of the game, with our heads high, no matter what the result is.”
Maric also provided an insight into the way Damien Hardwick goes about his coaching business at Tigerland . . .
“He’s tough and hard and honest, as he needs to be, but also, I think, the most important part is he shows a lot of care and empathy with the players and everyone around the football club,” Maric said.
“So, he’s a great person and a great coach.”
