Richmond has announced a near full-strength 29-man squad for Friday night’s opening pre-season challenge match against Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
The squad contains six of the Club’s new recruits from the recent off-field trade and draft periods, including former Carlton ruckman Shaun Hampson.

National draftees Nathan Gordon and Sam Lloyd have been included in the squad, along with new rookies Todd Banfield and Anthony Miles.
Richmond players in the squad who have not made an AFL debut to date, include Liam McBean and Kamdyn McIntosh.
Jack Riewoldt and Ivan Maric are among the Tigers' stars to miss the match through injury.
